DESCRIPTION OF MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Corrugated Aluminum/Stainless Steel

Aluminum or stainless steel is fed through a system of progressive roller discs which form the corrugations. The corrugated strip is then wound into a tube of a required diameter. The locking seam is formed by means of a needle and die and is pressed flat by the final roller. These products are used in heating, ventilating, and air conditioning applications and specific industrial applications.

Mechanical Lock

The mechanical lock is a special process that uses a formed channel of either aluminum, steel, or stainless steel. This channel is formed to the required diameter and is used as the supporting structure of the hose as well as locking the material. This provides excellent performance in longevity, quality and product consistency, flexibility, temperature range, and positive and negative pressure. Industrial application and specific heating, ventilating and air conditioning applications.

Wire Encapsulated

Wire encapsulated process uses polyester, nylon, or aluminum foil/polyester laminate or straight aluminum foil drawn from a rill into the machine which applies adhesive to one side of the film in the two tape configuration system or, alternatively, in a single tape configuration system, the adhesive is then cured in an oven. Upon exiting the oven, the tape is wrapped around a forming diameter which will encapsulate the wire between the two adhesive-coated surfaces. These products are used in the heating and ventilating and air conditioning applications.

Heat Welded

Heat welded hose manufacturing process uses flexible heat weldable materials. Material is drawn from a roll of appopriate width and is then drawn into the machine and then wrapped around a forming diameter which, at the point of overlap, a heat source is used to melt and weld the material and encapsulate the supporting wire. The products produced by this process are used principally in industrial applications with some heating, ventilating and air conditioning applications.
